Set on a secluded lakeside estate in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, this project is shaped by a sense of continuity, memory and quiet retreat. The landscape, defined by water, forest and long family history, creates a powerful emotional backdrop where architecture becomes a vessel for transmission rather than a statement.

The project explores the dialogue between permanence and lightness, between rooted materials and contemporary living. Stone and timber anchor the home in its territory, while carefully framed views and fluid interior-exterior transitions reinforce a feeling of calm, rhythm and seasonal change.
